Made pretty with the grinder. Rather than strip the bike down and send it off to be blasted and powder coated I'm just going to paint it. Paint is soft and flaky but I'm trying to decide whether to replace the welded-on rack that's wearing out with a welded-on stainless steel one or just take it off and use a bolt on one (406-suitable racks are hard to find, and I use front panniers so the extra height of a big-wheel rack isn't needed).
