Wildflowers from a bridge. The purple flowers are introduced lilac that is spreading along the roadside and causing problems. Unfortunately the "it's pretty" lobby are vociferous in its defence or it would have been declared a noxious weed long ago. See also: possums, trout, gorse etc.
